Once the Mist - Access Point Integration is completed, you can now integrate the streaming data into Degree Analytics. If you are using a hosted Mist integration option, please see the Mist On-Prem Setup

Getting URL and Secret from Degree Analytics

First, retrieve the URL and secret key from Degree Analytics that will be used to input into Mist.

Getting API Key & URL from Degree Analytics

1. As a School Admin, Select your School from the Schools Tab

Open

2. Select Integrations

   Open

   

3. Scroll down and then select Connect on the Mist App

   Open

   

4. You will then be provided a URL and API Key which will be the url and apikey options used in the webhook script
   Note: you can always generate a new API key, but when you do, it will invalidate the old one

Configure Mist Webhook

1. Navigate to Organization → Setting

2. Click “Add Webhook”

3. Add Required Information

1. Select HTTP POST

2. Add Name: DegreeAnalyticsAPI

3. Add URL provided by DA. Should begin with https://integration-api.degreeanalytics.com/....

4. Check Client Sessions and Client Join

5. Add the API Key provided by Degree Analytics to the Secret

Then click Add button

4. Confirmation

You should see a confirmation message, as well as the DegreeAnalyticsAPI webhook added, like in the example below
